The conviction of realities I cannot see
Rememberng I am God's priceless treasure when I feel utterly worthless
The handle by which I take God's Promises and apply them to my particular problems.
Confidence in God when money is running out, not rolling in.
Expecting God to
accomplish miracles--- through insignificant me with my five loaves and two fishes.
These statements present a
review of what we have been learning from the book of Hebrews. It also
is a good prelude to our study for July and August as we conclude our
study by exploring the grand
climax, the Great Chapter of Faith found in Hebrews 11. Verse 6
reminds us: "without faith it is impossible to please
God." Count how
many times the word "by faith" appear in this
chapter. What actions were
taken by faith? Look at your own life. Do you have the
kind of faith that pleases God? Does your faith help you through
the struggles and problems of life? Read and reread this chapter
several times over the next few months, and join us as we examine
together the many exibits God has placed in His great Hall of Faith as examples of what faith can do.
